In honour of Patrice Emmery Lumumba (1925-1961) visionary Pan-Africanist and a leader of Africa’s Independence movement, in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of his death.

13:00: Coordination and Integration of Africa’s 6th Region (Diaspora) in the AU. What prospects?
Speaker: Mr. Cheikh Niang, African Union (AU) representative in Brussels.


13:30: Speaker: Ms. Marianne Balle from Uganda, co-founder of the Pan-African Women’s Organisation, PAWLO in Uganda and Germany, elected foreigners’ representative at the Broadcasting Council of Berlin-Brandenburg.


13:50: The Pan-African demands on the African Union for the next 50 years.
Speaker: Mr. Jules Souleymane Diop Senegalese, Political Journalist & Columnist who lives in exile in Canada since 2004.


14:20: Foreign Direct Investment in Africa: The Role of the Diaspora
Speaker: Mr. Sanou Mbaye, Senegalese economist and former senior manager at the African Development Bank, lives in London.
