Grada Kilomba ist Psychologin und Schriftstellerin. Sie ist Autorin des Buches "Plantation Memories" (Unrast Verlag 2008). Ihr literarisch Arbeit kombiniert akademische schreiben und lyrische Erzählung um die Geschichten von Sklaverei, Kolonialismus und alltägliche Rassismus anzunähern. Sie lehrt zurzeit „Schwarze Haut, Weiße Maske: Fanon und Postkoloniale Theorie“ an der Freie Universität in Berlin.
Aziz Salmone Fall
Politologue internationaliste, Ex- coordonnateur du réseau québécois contre l’apartheid; coordonnateur d’un collectif de 22 avocats aux Nations Unies dans la Campagne Internationale Justice pour Sankara y ayant crée un précèdent contre l’impunité; vice –président de la Fondation Aubin Fondateur et membre du Groupe de recherche et d’ initiative pour la libération de l’Afrique- GRILA. Providence Tuyisabe
Providence Tuyisabe wurde 1964 in Rwanda geboren. Nach Abschluss der Schulausbildung mit Schwerpunkt Schulpädagogik kam er im Rahmen eines Stipendiums nach Deutschland. Er studierte daraufhin Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen an der Fachhochschule der Medien in Stuttgart mit Abschluss Diplom-Wirtschaftsingenieur (FH) 1993. Providence Tuyisabe ist Vorsitzender des seit 2002 bestehenden Globalen Netzwerks der Rwandischen Diaspora (RDGN) – Rwanda Diaspora Global Network in Deutschland. Der als gemeinnützig anerkannte Verein fördert den interkulturellen Austausch in der Diaspora und unterstützt kulturelle und wirtschaftliche Aktivitäten in Rwanda mit dem Ziel nachhaltig orientierter Entwicklung.
Nuhu Ribadu
Nuhu Ribadu (geboren 21. November 1960) studierte an die Nigerian Law School und wurde als Anwalt zugelassen in 1984 bevor er die nigerianische Bundespolizei zutritt wo er Chef der Recht- und Straffverfolgungsabteilung wurde. Schließlich wurde er als Pionier Vorsitzender der Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in April, 2003 ernannt. Ribadu wurde mehrere Mals für seine Arbeit ausgezeichnet und in März 2007 als stellvertretenden Generalinspektor der nigerianische Bundespolizei ernannt. Unter seine Führung hat der EFCC in 3 Jahren 200 Verurteilungen verzeichnet was eine Rekord in die 147 Jahre Geschichte der nigerianischen Bundespolizei aufstellt. Er ist zurzeit sowohl Stipendiat an der St. Anthony’s College, Oxford Universität als auch Gaststipendiat an der Centre for Global Development, Washington, DC.
Bob Brown
Bob Brown is a revolutionary, Pan-Africanist, socialist and Nkrumahist-Toureist. He has a 46-year history in the student, civil and human rights, Black Power, Pan-African, socialist and peace movements. Among his many associations, he was a member of the Congress of Racial Equality, director of the Midwest Office of the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee, co-founder of the Illinois Chapter of the Black Panther Party, supporter of the Movement to Take Nkrumah Back to Ghana, organizer for the All-African People’s Revolutionary Party, and member of the Democratic Party of Guinea and the Pan-Africanist Congress of Azania. He marched with Dr. Martin Luther King during the Chicago Freedom Movement (1965); worked with and served as one of Kwame Ture’s (Stokely Carmichael) political secretaries (1967-1998); refused to be drafted during the US war against Vietnam (1968); helped elect Harold Washington and Carol Moseley-Braun as the first Black Mayor of Chicago and the first Black woman US Senator (1983 and 1993 respectively); was a national staff member in Jesse Jackson’s presidential campaign (1984); was appointed by Minister Louis Farrakhan as the national coordinator for logistics and operations of the Million Man March (1995); and served as the national campaign manager for the Pan-Africanist Congress of Azania’s presidential and local government elections campaigns (2000 and 2004). He has worked with and supported progressive and revolutionary movements, parties and governments in every corner of the world. Bob is currently an organizer for the All-African People’s Revolutionary Party (GC). He authored Slavery and the Slave-Trade Were And Are Crimes Against Humanity and edited the new edition of Stokely Speaks: From Black Power Back To Pan-Africanism.
